Mocks are finally gone and it's time to chill!!! For awhile......
Unfortunately, it started off pretty bad.
This morning had a volleyball game at MPSJ, as expected, recruitment was a failure. =(
Nevertheless, we happen to be lucky to bumped into a team of Malay guys who were also playing, so yeah, we played a few games and I sooo seriously sucks being a setter!!! But, I was disconnected with it for quite long, so no surprise that my digging and setting sucks, plus my spin balls!!! Total bummer!!
After the game, I reached home ate lunch, was actually feeling a bit more motivated to brush myself up for the upcoming sports carnival. So, I decided to take Aaron's volleyball and cycle to my housing area's basketball court to practice setting, digging and so on. I went to the basketball court because the place had a lot of walls ok...not because I couldn't differentiate what type of ball I was holding, duh!
So, there I was, practicing and practicing until I felt like going home. As I was walking towards my bike, I was kinda acting playful, tossing the ball in the air, catching it, not catching it because it flew over the wall, rolling down the main road, and OH MY GOD!!!!!! My housing area was obviously gated with concrete walls, and the main entrance was sooooo far away!!! If I had to picked the ball back, I had to exit from the entrance, pass two roundabouts to reach the place where it flew over the wall!!!!
I was like OMG OMG OMG OMG,WTH WTH WTH WHAT SHOULD I DO WHAT SHOULD I DO!!! I had a few options:
1. Wait there, look at the volleyball that was in the middle of the road and hope that somebody pass by!!
2. Go home, blurt out what happen to my parents
3. Cycle all the way to the other side of the wall, which was sooo irrational.
But, considering that state of mind, I took option No. 3 without any hesitation, because that way I won't feel sooo worried about it!!! LOL..
So, I ran with lightning speed, peddled as fast as I could to reach the place. And the most irritating thing was that I had to make a big U-turn to reach that place!! I just flew as fast as I could out to the main road, through the busy roads and round-a-bouts because that ball wasn't mine at all!!!!!!
The place was actually near a constructions site, where there were a lot of those Malay workers and illegal housing areas..O.O Yes, you may think that it was better off to take the 1st or 2nd option. But, I didn't care at all, I just burst into those illegal housing areas, and just shouted," ADA NAMPAK BOLA SAYA, TAK?"
I know it was soo ridiculous, I couldn't have been kidnapped or raped after shouting.
All I wanted was Aaron's ball to be there and safe!!!!
Two Malay guys came out, one was actually smoking, their the one was topless, (Yikes!!) But strangely enough they talked to me quite decently, they even asked their friends inside the area for the ball. Nervous, I was, just couldn't stand there and do nothing, I went through the pavements, the end of the site and even in their dumpster where all the garbage was!!! Minutes later, the Malays guy came out and said that they found it!!! And I was like Thank you GOD!! I have been blessed!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
The only way back now was, obviously cycle all the way back again. Actually, it was a miracle that I could cycle there soooo fast, it just took me 5 or 10 minutes. But, my sole was already cramping by the time I reached the construction site, so I just cycled slowly like an old lady. No, seriously, I was pretty much like a tortoise or a snail, pick one. Lol, I went back to my house and I was sooo traumatized but at the same time it was kinda fun or pretty much funny and amusing.
That was one freaking holiday starter experience I ever had in my life. Aaron, your ball is a lucky charm, cherish it!
Oh yeah, tomorrow I'm finally going for undang. Finally.
